Indigenous Gratitute
We acknowledge and celebrate the traditional Territories of these lands: the Wendake-Nionwentsïo, Mississauga, Anishinabewaki, and the Ho-de-no-sau-nee-ga (Haudenosaunee). We give thanks and gratitude to honouring the traditional keepers of this land and we humbly walk forward with the responsibility of caring for this piece of Mother Earth.
We hold a shared vision to care for these lands and places as we learn to walk together, guided by Grandfather Teachings of honesty, respect, truth, love, humility, bravery, and wisdom.
Together, we aim to protect and preserve the ecological, cultural and spiritual integrity of these places while welcoming visitors to enjoy, understand and connect with the natural, cultural and spiritual values of this land.
ABOUT US
Our focus is simple; we are all about Nature, Sustainability, Wellness, and Community. We have a grass rootsy/campground vibe, we are just a couple of old school hippies who want to welcome others to land in nature and disconnect with the busy modern life we have all become intensely tied to. There is sound scientific evidence that being in nature makes us happy, healthy and more at ease.
An escape into our fields and forest is the most pure form of medicine you can find, if we could bottle this up and share it, we would!
County Fields and Forest is a ‘Natural Wellness Education Centre’. We believe firmly in living simply & sustainably. We live on an off-grid, solar powered homestead property, we have recently installed 3 tiny cabins and a 30 foot yurt, all of which are off-grid & solar powered as well. Our endeavour is to be ecologically conscious and hold the utmost responsibility to respecting and regenerating Mother Earth.
We have a hope that all kinds of humans will come visit us here. Those who love nature and are seasoned veterans when it comes to outdoor adventure and wellness practices, but also those who may be completely new to exploring in nature or exploring new wellness practices.
We are all about being inclusive and accessible. County Fields and Forest is a Queer family owned and operated property. We offer a warm welcome to anyone looking for a stress free, rejuvenating escape in nature!
